Visitor Parking

  • The WHCC provides complimentary parking for all guests who are visiting the center.
  • Parking is located behind the building which fronts onto Mills Ave.
  • Overnight parking is prohibited and vehicles will be towed.
  • The WHCC does not provide parking for RVs, fifth wheels, or campers.
  • Bus parking can be provided but ONLY if the WHCC is contacted in advance.

Directions

The Women’s History & Cultural Center is located along Orlando’s Cultural Corridor at the corner of Mills Avenue and Livingston.

Accessibility

We are ADA compliance. Accessible parking is available in designated parking spaces close to the building. A wheelchair ramp is easily accessible from the parking lot to the building. Just inside our double entrance doors an elevator is available. The second-floor is accessible with interior doorways measure 35” wide and an accessible restroom is available.

Service Animals

Service animals are welcome at the Women’s History & Cultural Center.  A service animal, as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act, is a dog trained to do work or perform specific tasks for a visitor with a disability.

Group Visit Information

For all groups wishing to visit the Women’s History & Cultural Center, we suggest a pre-registration request to ensure the highest quality experience for everyone. Each pre-registered group tour includes an experienced docent FREE of charge.  If your group is planning on visiting the museum, you will need to make a reservation if your group:

  • Is larger than 14 people
  • Is requesting a private tour
  • Will be arriving by motorcoach
  • Will be arriving by other large vehicles such as a school bus or 15-passenger van.
Student & Youth Groups
To request a visit date for public and private schools, and home schoolers please visit our Field Trip Form for more information. To request a visit for youth groups such as Girl Scout Troops, church groups, and special interest groups or clubs, please complete the Group Tour Request Form. Once your reservation form has been processed, you will receive an email confirmation within five business days.  WHCC staff members are happy to assist in your planning. Children under the age of 16 must always be accompanied by an adult(s).  The minimum ratio is one adult to 10 children; however, all parents and educators are encouraged to attend. To request additional assistance in scheduling student or youth group visits, please email us at whcc@citrus-gs.org.
Adult Groups

To request a reservation for adult groups (including reunions, church, and senior groups), please fill out the Group Tour Request Form. For information regarding luncheons or after-hours functions at the WHCC, please email us at WHCC@Citrus-GS.org.
