The Women’s History and Cultural Center presents “Going Gold, An Exploration of Girl Scouts’ Nationally Recognized Award” – the Gold Award. For the first time you can come and discover the history behind this century-old award, as well as the importance it serves in the lives of the young women who earn it.
Featuring the Class of 2024 Gold Award recipients, this exhibition immerses you in the impact Girl Scouts have on their communities and the steps they take to make the world a better place. From mental health to environmental protection, educational opportunities and beyond, Gold Award Girl Scouts are creating sustainable solutions to the most challenging problems facing our world today!
